What is TCI?

Accelerating life science: Make it your Tradition.
The shovel-ready TCI site has been carefully planned to meet your needs—now and in the future. With 150 acres of land, there is plenty of room for expansion. The already-in-place infrastructure provides world-class communication networks and underground utilities.

But that’s just the start of the TCI advantage. Being a privately owned and entrepreneurial research park, we’re able to respond rapidly to changing technology and evolving market needs. This means our members also have the flexibility to do the same. Science moves quickly. TCI moves even faster.

Programs designed around your needs.
We have several programs in place that will help you with short- and long-term planning, gain access to capital resources and attract top talent.

  • Florida Innovation Partners (FIP). This coalition of anchor clients helps guide the center’s growth through an active economic development and awareness program. FIP also serves as a mentor group to new TCI members.
  • Expedited permits. Getting the proper permits can be a daunting task. TCI makes this process easier by working with the proper authorities to make things happen quickly and smoothly.
  • Family relocation and employment assistance. Attracting top talent often means moving families. Our successful program helps make this a smooth transition.
  • Professional networking. TCI works closely with a broad network of institutions, universities and private life science companies. We then assist our members with partnership opportunities and collaborative ventures.
  • Government relations. Our close relationships with various state and local agencies have helped foster a supportive environment for science.

Part of a larger life science community.
TCI is strategically located near several universities and key research centers, creating great potential partnership opportunities and a ready pool of talent.

Among the many nearby institutions is Scripps Florida, the East Coast facility of the world’s largest, private, non-profit biomedical research organization, The Scripps Research Institute. Orlando is the home of the Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute at Lake Nona. Also close by is the Max Planck Florida Institute, the first U.S. center of the world-famous Max Planck Society.

An outstanding place to live.
Our master-planned research park is part of the larger master-planned community of Tradition, located in the very desirable city of Port St. Lucie. Here, life is good. The streets are safe. The locale is beautiful. The cost of living is low. All of which is a definite advantage when it comes to attracting top talent.

Start your own Tradition.
If you’re as driven as we are; if you want to live in one of the nation’s premier locations; if you truly care about giving your organization every advantage, then Tradition is where you should be.
